Hunting at The Turpentine Still Reserve |
- The quail hunting season on our reserve is from October 1st through April 20th
- Hunting licenses are included in the cost of your hunt
- Hunters that are required to take a hunter's safety course (according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission) will need to have the certification
- Youth under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Hunters need to bring their own firearms and ammunition

- Our guides are experienced quail hunters who are familiar with the terrain and quail habitat on the reserve
- We provide quality hunting dogs who are experienced at flushing quail from our pine flatwoods
- Morning hunts are from 8 A.M. – 12 noon and afternoon hunts are from 1 P.M. – 5 P.M.
- There is a twelve bird limit, per hunter, for each half-day hunt. Additional birds can be taken for an extra $8 each
- Lunch is available at an additional charge
- Tipping of the guides is customary and a matter of personal preference and satisfaction

Membership Rates & Information
Reserve Membership is available for the hunting season for $1500. Membership guarantees you to get the hunting dates you request and gives you a discounted price per hunt

- For a morning or afternoon hunt with two hunters (non-member): $300*
- For a morning or afternoon hunt with a single hunter (non-member): $375
